David Lewis is an experienced London cabaret performer and resident at the award-winningPeacock Bar in London. He is best known for his Frank Sinatra inspired “Martini” character who is hugely popular with the , hen party and stag party groups at Peacock Bar. David is also a regular performer on the London corporate events circuit and a popular London wedding singer. He can be seen on Friday nights in London and Saturday nights in London at Peacock bar. “David Lewis” comes to us straight from performing in The Irish Rat Pack Wedding Band as our very own Dean Martin absolutely oozing charm & sophistication. In fact, this guy is so cool he is practically comatose. Except for one thing …….. ….he does so so love the ladies. So don’t be surprised when he walks into the crowd and comes back with a beautiful lady to sing a love song too. Top notch singing and improv from cabaret’s self-proclaimed the coolest cat.”
His other talents include his day time jobs of teaching theatre, singing, musical instruments, and photography. All of which he loves. You can see reviews of his London cabaret shows here and of his London cabaret night at the Peacock here
Other artists in his genre he recommends are:
Michael Campari starts the evening off as “Old Blue Eye” himself oozing charm & sophistication but after the break comes back as” Michael Hadley” with his brilliant take on New Romantic classics from Spandau Ballet, ABC and Duran Duran. Complete with makeup, lounge lizard suit oh and just oozing charm everywhere he goes. But don’t get too close as he’s not happy without a microphone in one hand and … a girl in the other!
“Mark Vermouth” this top Frank Sinatra tribute comes to us straight from performing as Dean Martin in The Rat Pack -Viva Las Vegas internationally so you are lucky lucky lucky people. Our Mark – just loves one thing more than a drink or two and that is a lady or two. So don’t be surprised when he walks into the crowd and comes back with a beautiful lady (or two) to sing a love song too. Top notch singing, pattern and improve from cabaret’s self-proclaimed “Dean Martin To The Stars”
“Miss Kitty” a top London burlesque performer performing her new character “Marilyn Minelli” exclusively at the Peacock. Our little Blonde Bombshell starts off all Marilyn Monroe like performing songs like ” I want to be Loved By You” and “Happy Birthday Mr. President” but after the break returns as Lisa Minelli and starts singing hits from Cabaret. On Wow!
Other artists David Lewis recommends you check out are:
“Lady Adora”, our sultry burlesque dancer & singer returns but watch out she’s learned a few things from performing at Torture Garden and she is looking for male volunteers to submit to her will and she will not take no for an answer. As well as great songs from the 50s and 60s Lady Adora has a scintillating floor show and burlesque costumes to boot. Has to be seen to be believed!
“Anna Sambalada”, a superb salsa dancer brings a Latino take on burlesque with her amazing carnival costumes, dancing and pole move not to mention a great singing voice too. She does so like to involve the crowd too….so get your dancing shoes on boys and girls and prepare to be wowed.
“Kiki Kaboom” (2009 Best Newcomer at The London Burlesque Festival) varied performances include a classic, elegant striptease while she sings “I Just Want to Make Love To You” to her award-winning “Chanterelle” character dressed in appropriate bling and bad taste. Whilst not singing she is just as likely to be challenging her audience to a fight for “dissing” her or trying to nick your mobile phone (“finders keepers ain’t it”) Wonderful stuff.
“Louis Amour“, our top London wedding Dj says “Its disco and dancing with our very own self-proclaimed heartthrob DJ Louis Amour spinning 80s, 90s, 00s tunes with a bit of funky house thrown in too until carriages at 2.30am. All aided by tacky original 70s/ 80s visuals and rubbish cheapo lighting. Oh and just so you know Louis Amour is looking for amour and just loves the way you move. Watch out girls!”
